A September schedule covering 7–14 September 2026 lists daily cuts in peak morning slots from 05:00 to 09:00 and evening slots from 17:00 to 22:00 for designated blocks A through J.

Utility officials say the targeted interruptions are needed because illegal connections and high demand risk damaging infrastructure that serves wider communities. Unlike stage-based national load shedding, load reduction is localised and aimed at stressed feeders.

Households and businesses in affected Gauteng suburbs should consult the published block schedule through 14 September and plan around morning and evening peaks. Eskom maintains that keeping national stages off depends partly on managing these hotspot networks carefully.

Source: https://www.kaya959.co.za/news/gauteng-power-cuts-eskom-releases-new-september-load-reduction-schedule/

National load shedding remains suspended, yet targeted peak-time load reduction still hits Gauteng blocks A–J through 14 September.

[127,128
132
post-109","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-news","category-south-africa","tag-energy
["GET
